Support Temple B’nai Jeshurun – Make a Meaningful Impact Today
Tzedakah, is a Hebrew word that is often translated as “charity,” but truly means “justice” or “doing what’s right.” In Judaism, helping others isn’t optional—it’s a sacred responsibility. It’s how we sustain Jewish life, strengthen our community, and ensure our traditions remain alive and meaningful. For many, Temple B’nai Jeshurun is the heart of these purposes.
TBJ is more than a building, it’s a home—where we pray, learn, celebrate, and come together as a family. Every moment of connection, every tradition passed down, every child’s laughter in our halls—it all happens because of you.
We rely on your tzedakah to keep our spiritual home flourishing. From heartfelt worship and lifelong learning to cultural events and community service, your support makes it all possible. Even the care of our sacred space depends on people like you.
We invite you to make a donation—big or small—that reflects your commitment to our community. Many choose to give in multiples of 18, or Chai, symbolizing life in Jewish tradition. Your gift can be given to our General Temple fund, or directed to a specific fund in honor, memory, or celebration of someone special. These contributions are recognized in the Temple Bulletin.
And remember—Tzedakah isn’t just about money.
You can give through your time, energy, and wisdom. Every act of kindness counts. Every contribution matters.
Make your gift today and be part of something greater.
Together, we build a stronger, more compassionate community.
This Is Your Temple. Help Keep It Alive.
Temple B’nai Jeshurun is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible. Our congregation is supported through a combination of dues, donations, and fundraising.
The Temple maintains dedicated memorial walls just outside the rear of our sanctuary. Plaques are inscribed with the name of the departed along with the date of birth and passing.
