The TBJ Fall bike ride was another great success!
The TBJ Fall bike ride was another great success! Although we only had 6 riders, it was a beautiful Fall afternoon to be out on our bikes enjoying the great weather, getting good exercise, socializing, and filling up on some hearty food at The Chicken at the half-way point and Jethro’s at the end! We hope you’ll join us next year when we’re planning to do one ride per month beginning in May and ending in October.
Kever Avot on October 6
This Sunday, October 6 is KEVER AVOT. Kever Avot is the custom of visiting the graves of our ancestors between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
At 12:00 p.m. we will be at Woodland Cemetery, and at 1:30 p.m. we will be at Glendale Cemetery, with Tifereth Israel Synagogue.
October 7th – Marking One Year
This event is being planned by the Federation, Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Lubavitch of Iowa, Tifereth Israel Synagogue, and others.
